The most common questions about Factor’s meals
Do you offer keto meals?
Yes. You can recognise our keto meals by the “Keto” label under the meal image. For our keto recipes, our chefs and dietitians follow ketogenic diet guidelines. This means a maximum of 15g of carbohydrates per meal, with a focus on including a variety of protein and fat sources while balancing the meal with low-carb vegetables.
What does Factor mean by ‘healthy’?
What do we consider ‘healthy’? Our freshly prepared meals are developed based on the 'Schijf van Vijf' guidelines from the Voedingscentrum (Dutch Nutrition Centre). This means each portion contains at least 150g of vegetables, a maximum of 700 calories (except for keto meals, which contain up to 850 calories), whole-grain ingredients where possible, high-quality protein sources, and healthy cooking fats.
Are the meals fresh or frozen?
Always fresh, always safe – that’s our commitment to home-delivered meals. To keep your order fresh for hours, all meals are delivered in 100% refrigerated vans. Since we don’t freeze our meals, you get to enjoy dishes that taste as if they were made in your own kitchen. Make sure to place your meals in the fridge as soon as they arrive. They stay fresh for up to a week, and you can check the exact expiration date on the packaging. Enjoy your meal!
